Antonio's First Basketball Game!

Antonio had his first basketball game today! It all worked out so great because Josh was off work at that time so we were all able to go! Not surprisingly, Antonio scored a ton of baskets! Grandma and Grandpa were sooo proud... and of course, daddy had to get Antonio a toy afterwards. He picked out (another) Batman figure. Our baby is #4 ... look at him go! New Basketball Net!

We bought a basketball net today! Antonio is sooo excited! My dad came over to help Josh put it together. Josh loves basketball so he thought it would be a great way to have more "father/son" time with Antonio (besides the Xbox 360 and the Wii! lol). They are having so much fun together on this beautiful day playing basketball. It was a little hard for Antonio to reach because the lowest it went was 7.5 ft. so my father and Josh decided to only set it up with the middle pole and its the perfect size now!! We can just raise it up taller when Antonio grows... and then in a few years we can add the other pole and make it as tall as a regular net!

Antonio is going to be a BIG BROTHER!!

We finally got our BFP (Big Fat Positive) yesterday, January 24, 2009!! Praise the Lord! We are finally pregnant after losing our pregnancy in August. Antonio is going to be a big brother!! We have faith that this pregnancy is going to be full term and 100% healthy!! Amen!!! I actually just came back from church. Our wonderful priest placed his hands over my belly and said a beautiful prayer of life and health for this baby!! My whole family and I are sooooo ecstatic!

Last practice before the first game!

Today Antonio had his last basketball practice before his first game next Saturday. He got his team shirt. He is number 4 this season. He is doing so well keeping up with all of the bigger kids and he is having a great time! We see his friends Nancy and Josh every weekend, although they are on the other team, their practice is at the same time :)

Chuck E Cheese!

We love Chuck-E-Cheese! I just wish there was one closer to us so we could go more often! We have such a good time there. My friend Ashley and I took Antonio and her daughter LeAnna and we had a really great day!

Josh's New Tattoo's

Josh got 2 new Tattoo's yesterday. This makes 7 for him I think...

He got the baby's name over his heart (so now he has both of our names) and a German word going down his side which means "warrior" in English.

The Wildcats!

Antonio started basketball today... he LOVED it! He is on a team with all 4-5 year olds... he ended up being the youngest on the team...but he did really well! I'm so proud of my little baby.. and he had fun which was the best part! His team is called "The Wildcats." They will get their team jersey at their first game :) Then, there was a big "pirate ship" parade float in the parking lot that Antonio got to go on and get treasure.. he was in his glory LOL.

Week Recap

It was a nice little week for us. Lots of family time and fun. We went to a few high school games to watch our cousin in cheerleading and her boyfriend in his wrestling. Antonio always enjoys watching and playing sports and I love taking him to things he enjoys. His basketball should start sometime this week, I will know as soon as I hear from his coach!
Last night, my friend of 5 years Alexis came to visit me all the way from California! The kids had a great time playing together. We ordered pizza's and talked and I'm so glad I got to see her!

New Years Party 2009!

Well, 2008 went out with a bang! WELCOME 2009!!
We had so many family and friends over for New Years and had a really great party! I don't drink much, so it was nice to have some wine and let loose a little! We had so much food and dessert... my house was trashed afterwards haha! I'm finally getting a chance now to sit down and get on my computer to upload photos and post an update. My house still isn't clean the way I like it... but it will get there soon! Antonio had so much fun with his cousins and friends that were over... and all of the adults had a great time together celebrating the new year!
