Homework

My baby was soooo adorable doing his homework tonight! Over this weekend, his homework was to cut out the little pictures he colored in school and put them in a baggy to bring to school on Monday. So after his bath tonight, we set him up at the table so he can do it. He did such a great job! I am so proud of him and he is really proud of himself!!! He had such a WONDERFUL first week of school Praise the Lord! Let's hope its this way all year!!

VPK - Day 2

Getting Antonio off today was just as easy as yesterday! What a BIG boy I have!! He looked so handsome today in the outfit he picked himself. I can't wait until he comes home... I miss him already! I have to go to Publix because I promised him a bunch of fruit when he got home lol!

Getting ready for school tomorrow

Well, we just had our bedtime snack (we had pineapple) and now my baby is all bathed, lotioned and smelling beautiful. He picked his own outfit for school tomorrow, I of course will be taking more photos :) I looked in Antonio's folder and found the cutest message from his teachers today :) I pray the rest of the year goes as smoothly as it did today! And in one month, Antonio will be going to school a new big brother!!!!

Antonio's First Day of VPK!

Today was Antonio's First day of pre-school or "VPK" I am SO proud of my little boy!! No tears! This is the first year where Josh and I had to actually leave him for 3 hours while he was at school. I prayed so hard and my prayers were answered! God is so great (as always!) My mom and sister met us up there, we all kissed and hugged him goodbye and walked out the door with no problem!! I think Josh took it the worst, he did not want to leave haha! But I'm happy to say daddy and little man did well and we are all great and getting ready for tomorrow! We were even greeted with a huge smile when we returned to get him (with 2 toys of course)

34 week belly photos

I'm 34 weeks today! Praise the Lord for this healthy pregnancy! I had my prenatal appointment and everything looks great with baby - Dr. moved appointments up to every week now! My sugars are down and I'm measuring perfectly... so no meds [as of yet] AMEN - Lets hope it stays that way! My Dr. is going to consider me full term in 4 weeks! Wow! Because of the gestational diabetes, he is not going to let me pass the 40 week mark, so there is no way Gio will be born after September 30th. That means the longest we have to wait to see our precious child is 42 days... OMG! We are so ready! Everything is ready for you baby so you are welcome to come early in 4 weeks if you want!!!

School Haircut

I can't believe my little baby Antonio will be starting VPK (Voluntary Pre-Kindergarten) on Monday! How bitter sweet (even though I cant find the "sweet" part of it being so sad my baby is growing up so fast) I just KNOW this is a special time in his life and the best thing for him! For the first month of him going to school, I will be completely childless for 3 hours a day! I'm not used to that at all - but Gio will come in September and keep me busy I'm sure! Antonio will be attending his classes Monday-Friday from 12pm-3pm. My little boy is not so "little" anymore :( But he will ALWAYS be my baby! Today he got his haircut and is now all ready for school (and the "meet and greet" on Friday). I let him get it cut anyway he chose and he wanted it short :) He looks so handsome any way his hair is! He is such a joy.

Build A Bear for the Boys

Today we took Antonio to Build A Bear to make a special bear for him to bring to the hospital for his brother when he is born. Of course, we didn't get away with getting him one, too :) It was a blast. I totally love family days and we really had a great time today.
We let Antonio make the animals completely on his own. He did everything from picking them out and stuffing them and picking out the clothes and names. He is such a wonderful son and big brother... Josh and I are SO blessed!!
