Our First Fall Crafts!

On Friday, after I picked Nino up from school, daddy got called into work, so I figured I could think of a few fun things for the boys and I to do together. We ended up getting a beautiful "ghost ship" craft and then we baked a delicious pumpkin pie!

The ship is not exactly finished yet, it is taking a lot of time because I did not realize when I bought it that it came with hundreds of little pieces LOL oops. Grandpa is helping us with that one! The pumpkin pie however came out sooo good and we had so much fun eating it! Happy Fall Everyone!

Giovanni's 1st Birthday Party!

We had the most fantastic time at our baby's 1st birthday party! Surrounded by the best family and friends, we had a blast! What great memories we have created for Giovanni to look back on when he is older! Thank you everyone who was able to come and those of you who couldn't, but wanted to!

And for everyone who helped out so much, we don't know what we would do without you!!

Let The 1st Birthday Countdown Begin!

I just cant believe our Giovanni is going to be one year old in 5 days. Its unbelievable... and so very bitter-sweet. Praise the LORD he is growing up so healthy and beautifully, but this year has gone by so fast for me. Sometimes this precious little angel just makes me want to freeze time so I can hold him in my arms forever. The absolute same feelings I remember having when my little Nino turned 1.

We are going to have Giovanni's 1st birthday party on Sunday. His theme is "Little Prince- 1st Birthday" Lots of family and friends will be there and we are all really excited to celebrate Giovanni's very first birthday! Here are a few samples of his first birthday photos!

Kindergarten Photo

Antonio's kindergarten photo came back already. I love it, what a precious memory!! My scanner is not working correctly so I took a photo of the photo with my phone :)

Little Melissa!

OK, so as much as our little Giovanni looks like his daddy, he reminds me very much of myself when I was a baby (only much more handsome hehe). I had the same curly hair and fat little body and loved to eat just like him! So what did I do? I put his hair up like a girl (haha) and he is totally a little me! I dont think he was too happy about his hair being this way, but once I gave him more food he totally forgot about it! Kindergarten!

Monday was Antonio's very first day of Kindergarten. He looked adorable. The morning went pretty smooth as expected. There was no problems waking him up early in the morning and getting him dressed. He was really excited about going. When we got to his classroom, he was a little hesitant at first, but once he got to his seat he was absolutely fine. I gave him a kiss goodbye and it went great. Then, I went over to my niece and nephew's school and walked them to their class.

Antonio had a big smile on his face when we picked him up. He had a really nice day. I was so happy he liked it, already he has made friends and has people waving to him, he is so amazing he gets along with everyone!
