Family Photo Shoot From April

I met the most wonderful local photographer. I am so glad I found her. We were very pleased with the photos she took of our family and the boys. I can not wait to book another shoot for Giovanni's 1st birthday! I picked 15 of my favorite photos and she made a gorgeous brag book out of them. I also ordered 2 10x10 photos which also game out gorgeous! These scans do not do them justice... they are fabulous in person!

Giovanni's First Time In The Pool!

What a beautiful day for a swim! Giovanni goes in a swimming pool for the first time!

Daddy, Brother, Grandma and Cousin Francesca was there to join in the fun as well!

Happy Mothers Day!

What a great Mothers day it was! My wonderful husband let me sleep late in the morning and took such good care of our boys for me. When I woke up, there were flowers and card for me on the counter. I also got to order photo's and a "brag book" from the family photo shoot we had last month (I will have time to post the proofs to those photos hopefully this week).
My parents, sister, her children and my family all went out for a Mothers Day dinner at Carrabbas Italian Grill. It was yummy and so nice getting out with all of us. I gave my mom and sister a rose each and I got my mommy the Vera Wang "Princess" perfume she loves. I hope I made her mothers day as wonderful as my family made mine.

Mothers Day Tea at Nino's School

Well my day was really great. The boys and I woke up bright and early and we all went out to breakfast with my parents and my niece Francesca. Antonio had Mickey pancakes and I brought along apples and oatmeal baby food for Gio. After, I got Nino ready and he went to school. I had to be there an hour before dismissal for our "Mothers Day Tea" he invited me to. I absolutely loved it. Nino greeted me at the door and walked me to my seat holding my hand. He then put a beautiful necklace around my neck that he made for me. All of the kids lined up and one by one to give a reason why their mommy is special. Nino was first and he said "MY MOMMY IS SPECIAL BECAUSE SHE BUYS ME ICE CREAM" it was so cute everyone loved his answer. When the kids were done with that, they gave us mommy's flowers, a certificate and a hat they made us and asked us if we would like iced tea or lemonade. He got me a drink and we sat down to have some muffins, jello, cake and sandwiches. I couldn't have asked for a better time. It created such special memories for me!! I will keep my hat, necklace and flower forever and no I will not post any photo's of me wearing the hat LOL!
