Brothers and Best Friends

Thought I would upload an adorable video of Gio hysterical laughing and splashing his brother in the bathtub (sorry I cut it off so soon, Gio took a nose dive in the water.. he got up himself but my first reaction was the throw the camera and run for him lol)

Its amazing to watch the love between my two boys grow bigger and bigger everyday. They are the best brothers and best of friends.

New Years 2011

Can you believe we are in the year 2011? Holy cow!

We rang in the new year in our favorite way... surrounded by our loving family. We played games and set off fireworks, we danced, we sang, it was just a blast! It was a beautiful night and the boys even got to take a ride in their new truck! I think grandma made us all laugh enough to last the entire year! hahaha!

Both of my boys were up to watch the ball drop at midnight!

Smart Babies

I just cant get over how much my little Antonio is like me. I am so proud! It is the most amazing feeling watching him grow up into his own little person... a little person who reminds me so much of myself.

The words he uses are just astounding. Ever since he was able to talk, his vocabulary was far and beyond his age. Right now, he is talking to me online from another computer. I just cant get over him typing sentences to me. He makes his way around the computer like a pro. God has sure blessed him not only as a beautiful, healthy little person, but an extremely smart one as well. Every day, he continues to amaze our whole family as well as his teachers in school.

Both of my boys are so smart it is incredible. Giovanni seems to be following right along in his brothers footsteps. I am beyond lucky and blessed.

I am sitting here watching my 15 month old take out all his toys and organizing them. He is putting all of his tools in his tool box, all of his mail in his mailbox, and all of his toy cookies in the cookie jar. He just knows where everything goes and which buttons to press to make them all work properly. He twists his screwdrivers and hammers his hammer and never mixes them up. Its incredible. Already he is a very good listener and usually stops in his tracks when I tell him "no". I am just sitting here in awe and amazement.

Thank you JESUS for my smart babies!!

Christmas Day 2010

I have to start out by saying HAPPY BIRTHDAY JESUS! He is the reason for the season!

I love telling my boys all about Jesus on Christmas. Antonio is always so interested in what I have to say, its adorable. I can not wait until Gio is old enough to understand. I feel it is very important for them to know the true meaning of the holiday.

Christmas morning was wonderful. It truly is such a special time between my husband and I and our children. I live for those times. Our God is so amazing. It is HIS birthday, and yet, he continues to bless US with so many things.

The faces on our babies were priceless. The entire morning was filled with screams of joy and fun for them. Santa brought them a ton of great gifts.... I will just mention some of the favorites.

Antonio was thrilled to find an Xbox Kinect System under the tree for him. He just loved that Santa brought him a bunch of Wii and Xbox video games, Star Wars figures and ships, moon shoes, other games, books, art supplies, a real working construction set, a zune [mp3 player + more], candy and legos etc. Giovanni was amazed to find a Ford F150 truck [complete with "spoiled" licence plate], laugh and learn mailbox, Elmo doll, climb through tunnel, bath toys, Fisher-Price Spinnin' Sounds Speedway and Handy Manny Tool Set etc.

Christmas dinner was of course delicious. We had a huge honey glazed ham with all of the trimmings (salad, sweet potatoes etc.) and pasta and meatballs. Lots of Italian bread and anti pasta. Boy was I stuffed! I was so happy to celebrate Jesus' birthday with the ones I love most. Now, if my NY family was here, it would have been almost perfect!

Christmas Eve 2010

The words I have to describe our Christmas Eve this year are wonderful, blessed, FUN and amazing. We spent our day over at my parents house as we usually do, in our jammies of course! Everything went along pretty much according to plan. We had a yummy delicious dinner (of course the fishes: calamari, scungilli, baccala, mussels, clams etc.) and for those of us who do not eat that we had prime rib with salad and all of the delicious trimmings. After dinner we exchanged gifts. The kids had such an amazing time. Grandma and Grandpa bought Antonio and Dominic a hockey/air hockey table which went over really well, we ALL had fun playing with those! Giovanni LOVED his dancing Mickey and ball popper as well as his learning tool set, clothes, PJ's and playskool house. Antonio finally got the "tie fighter" which is a ship from Star Wars he has been wanting as well as a beautiful 3d art set, PJ's, online toy and paper jamz guitar. One of the highlights of MY night was receiving my gorgeous new Burberry bag! Its beautiful and I feel so blessed! Before the night was up, we were able to track Santa online. We tried not to get home too late since we still had to put out the milk and cookies and sprinkle the magic reindeer dust on our lawn. Not to mention get to sleep so Santa could come! Basically the whole day was filled with laughter and family fun, wonderful memories for us to remember.

Last Minute Message!

Antonio said he had a last minute message for Santa and it was very important that I took him to the mall to see him. I quickly took the boys out in their jammies so they could see Santa one last time. It worked out because I had to run a quick errand around the area anyway. Here are two phone photo's I managed to get... can you tell Gio was crying? aww!

Just "Chillin" Out

My babies are finally starting to feel better, thank GOD. They have been so very sick this winter :( Here are some photos of them "just chillin' out" today in the house, enjoying this Christmas time together. We want to be 100% in 4 days for Christmas!
