The Cute Little Faces of Giovanni and Brayden

Last night, my friend Ashley and I had a "PJ Party" with the children. We also cooked breakfast for dinner! It was so much fun. Here are some adorable photos I got of our youngest boys Giovanni and Brayden.

A Toddler Bed For Giovanni!

Our beautiful baby boy is 16 months old now, and is very capable of throwing himself over his crib railings (not that he ever really liked his crib anyway hahaha). Josh and I have decided it would be much safer to now put him in a big boy toddler bed, so we went to the store and had him pick out his very own big boy bedding. We chose Disney's "Cars". It has been working out really well! He still wants to come in my bed sometimes, but all in all, its working out. The best part is that he never climbs out when he wakes up and tries to roam the house by himself, he always wakes me up first! I would totally hear him if he didn't wake me up anyway, even when I am sleeping, I am ALWAYS in tune with the boys. Here are some photos of Gio's new big boy toddler bed :)

Giovanni at 16 months!

Trying to make time for blogging lately has been a little difficult, the weather has been beautiful and we have been keeping busy with lots of family time and playing outside. These photo's were taken on the 18th when our precious angel turned 16 months old! This beautiful, happy child will never know the joy and love he brings to our lives! He has a smile that could light up an entire room!

Gio's 1st Visit to Chuck E Cheeses

Antonio has been dying to get to Chuck E Cheese's lately, I really wish we had one closer! The nearest one to us is about 40 minutes away but since he asked a few times, Josh and I decided to take the boys yesterday. They had so much fun! Giovanni really enjoyed his first time at CEC!! It was so nice to see the huge smile on their faces all day long. We all ate delicious pizza and wings. We played,we danced and met up with friends. It was a real great time! Giovanni was non-stop the entire time, running all over the place, it was so cute.

For My Sons

Not sure if I have ever shared this, but if so, its worth sharing again :)

*Just for this morning, I am going to step over the
laundry, and pick you up and take you to the
park to play.

*Just for this morning, I will leave the dishes in
the sink, and let you teach me how to put that
puzzle of yours together.

*Just for this afternoon, I will unplug the
telephone and keep the computer off, and sit with
you in the backyard and blow bubbles.

*Just for this afternoon, I will not yell once, not
even a tiny grumble when you scream and whine
for the ice cream truck and I will buy you one
if he comes by.

*Just for this afternoon, I won't worry about
what you are going to be when you grow up, or
second guess every decision I have made where
you are concerned.

*Just for this afternoon, I will let you help me
bake cookies, and I won't stand over you trying
to fix them.

*Just for this afternoon, I will take us to
McDonald's and buy us both a Happy Meal so
you can have both toys.

*Just for this evening, I will hold you in my arms
and tell you a story about how you were born
and how much I love you.

*Just for this evening, I will let you splash in the
tub and not get angry.

*Just for this evening, I will let you stay up late
while we sit on the porch and count all the stars.

*Just for this evening, I will snuggle beside you
for hours, and miss my favorite TV shows.

*Just for this evening when I run my finger
through your hair as you pray, I will simply be
grateful that GOD has given me the greatest gift
ever given.

*I will think about the mothers and fathers who
are searching for their missing children, the
mothers and fathers who are visiting their
children's graves instead of their bedrooms, and
mothers and fathers who are in hospital rooms
watching their children suffer senselessly, and
screaming inside that they can't handle it
anymore.

*And when I kiss you good night I will hold you
a little tighter, a little longer. It is then, that I will
thank GOD for you, and ask Him for nothing,
except one more day.............

Brothers and Best Friends

Thought I would upload an adorable video of Gio hysterical laughing and splashing his brother in the bathtub (sorry I cut it off so soon, Gio took a nose dive in the water.. he got up himself but my first reaction was the throw the camera and run for him lol)

Its amazing to watch the love between my two boys grow bigger and bigger everyday. They are the best brothers and best of friends.

New Years 2011

Can you believe we are in the year 2011? Holy cow!

We rang in the new year in our favorite way... surrounded by our loving family. We played games and set off fireworks, we danced, we sang, it was just a blast! It was a beautiful night and the boys even got to take a ride in their new truck! I think grandma made us all laugh enough to last the entire year! hahaha!

Both of my boys were up to watch the ball drop at midnight!

(I had let Gio take a very long nap during the day and it worked!)
